Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking Ukrainian Medical Interpreters to support healthcare and other sectors across Canada via over-the-phone and video remote interpretation. The role is remote within Canada and requires fluent Ukrainian and English, confidentiality, and professional communication.

Selected candidates will complete three weeks of paid training and start at $18.50 per hour, with vacation and holiday pay and flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Ukrainian and English (speaking, reading, listening, and comprehension).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years old, eligible to work in Canada.
• Comfortable using web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between Ukrainian and English speakers using OPI and VRI platforms.
• Facilitate communication across healthcare, insurance, legal, financial, emergency services, and public service settings.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
• Manage video interactions professionally, conveying meaning and tone accurately.
• Participate in training, quality monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
