Job summary

Kelly is seeking Danish Medical Interpreters to support healthcare providers across Canada via OPI and VRI. This remote role serves Ontario residents, requiring compassionate, detail-oriented professionals who can bridge language barriers in critical situations.

You will join a team focused on accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity, with three weeks of training and competitive pay of 19.70 per hour after training.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Danish and English (speaking, reading, listening, and comprehension).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age, reside in Ontario, and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable using technology and web-based communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between Danish and English using OPI and VRI.
• Facilitate communication across healthcare, insurance, legal, financial, emergency and public service settings.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
• Manage video interactions professionally with proper etiquette and tone.
• Participate in training, quality monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
