We seek advanced knowledge in structural analysis, reinforced concrete and steel design, plus the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Remote work with flexible hours and payments, up to $40 per hour, supported by AI tools to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of structural analysis methods and building code requirements.
• Ability to explain moment distribution, plastic analysis, seismic design principles.
• Experience teaching or tutoring is preferred.
• Preparation of students for PE exam and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to structural engineering students.
• Create lesson materials, problems sets, and practice questions.
• Adapt instruction to individual learning styles and needs.
• Coordinate with students through the Varsity Tutors platform and manage scheduling/invoicing.
