Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software design and development, including production systems at scale.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across backend, APIs, and frontend (web or mobile).
• Experience leading cross-team projects from inception through rollout.
• Experience building AI-powered or data-driven products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technically complex, mission-critical areas and drive them from concept to demonstration.
• Define and drive technical strategy for new products and platform capabilities.
• Design and ship full-stack features end to end across backend, frontend, and possibly mobile.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate real-world problems into technical plans.
• Build and scale data ingestion, APIs, and workflows powering AI-driven products.
• Raise the bar through code reviews, design reviews, and mentoring; embody Samsara’s core principles.
