Job summary

Enurgen in Ottawa is expanding its DUET platform and seeks an experienced software engineer to tackle the hardest problems of the month across our Go edge system, ClickHouse-based data platform, and TypeScript/React product.

You will build reusable tools, review code, mentor juniors, and shape architectural decisions that affect multiple engineers. The role is remote or hybrid from Ottawa, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software across multiple system boundaries.
• Strong systems thinker; ability to architect before coding.
• Full-stack proficiency across Go, TypeScript/React, and ClickHouse/SQL.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield software in startup-like environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take on the highest-leverage problem across Go edge system, ClickHouse data platform, or TS/React product.
• Build tools, patterns, and frameworks for engineers to adopt.
• Raise the bar through code review and pairing; mentor juniors.
• Make architectural calls shaping how five other people build.
• Extend loss attribution and issue detection work with R&D.
• Tackle the system nobody wants to touch.
