Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a Senior AI Developer to design and implement AI-powered developer experiences and integrate AI into software delivery practices. The role combines architecture and hands-on engineering, with an initial focus on consultation and design, followed by major implementation work.

The position supports hybrid work, with offices in Ottawa or Community Hubs in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, or Vancouver.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale production systems.
• Strong front-end and back-end technologies including Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Aufgaben

• Leverage full-stack software engineering expertise across React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, APIs, cloud services, and modern DevOps practices to design, build, and operate Agentic SDLC Operating System.
• Design practical agent driven workflows that automate development activities like requirements gathering, scaffolding, test execution, code analysis, and structured validation.
• Embed AI-assisted development into delivery workflows using tools like GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure Foundry to improve developer experience and delivery efficiency.
• Design the target state by partnering with analysts, architects, developers, testers and release leads to identify delivery effort and bottlenecks, prioritizing high-value use cases.
• Create reference implementations, repository standards, reusable templates, onboarding guidance and engineering conventions for adoption across teams.
