Varsity Tutors in Canada is seeking online Spelling Bee tutors to join our Live Learning Platform. As a tutor, you set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ spelling and language confidence from the comfort of your home.

Earn up to $40/hour and get paid twice per week. Tutor remotely, connect with students 1-on-1, and leverage our AI Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of English word origins, spelling patterns and etymology.
• Ability to explain language of origin patterns and unusual spelling conventions.
• Familiarity with spelling bee formats and competition preparation.
• Capacity to teach word study strategies and memorization techniques.
• Ability to tailor instruction to individual learning needs and styles.
• Clear, engaging communication with students and parents.

Responsibilities
