Job summary

exacare ai is seeking a Software Engineer to build healthcare products that solve meaningful customer problems. You will own features from requirements through deployment, collaborating with engineering, product, design and customer-facing teams.

You will work with AWS, TypeScript and PostgreSQL to ship user-facing, production-ready software, focusing on reliability, observability and quality code. With mentorship from experienced engineers, you’ll grow ownership and technical impact while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field.
2+ years of engineering experience with a focus on building highly scalable distributed systems.
Self-starter who rapidly learns new technologies and translates tasks into a plan.
Demonstrated ability to triage and prioritize production incidents efficiently.
Ownership mentality and resourcefulness.
Organized with high attention to detail, emphasizing quality code, automation, validation and testing.
Experience with AWS, LLMs, TypeScript, PostgreSQL.
Strong ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language for cross-functional teams.
Experience with building automated workflows.

Responsibilities

Build features throughout the development lifecycle from requirements to rollout and support.
Develop systems-to-workflow thinking by connecting architecture, data models, APIs, and integrations to healthcare workflows.
Build and ship user-facing product using TS, PostgreSQL, and cloud tooling on AWS.
Write tests, participate in code reviews, and follow observability and deployment practices.
Improve and reuse existing solutions and patterns; simplify code and workflows.
Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, platform, and ML teams to solve problems and grow skills.
