Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare's Bayshore Northern Staffing team is seeking Social Workers to support Indigenous and Northern communities in Nunavut on a 6- to 8-week remote assignment with travel to Iqaluit.

Role focuses on in-office quality assurance, case management with Matrix, and potential frontline crisis work with strong teamwork and meticulous organization. Requires a two-year SW credential, a BSW, and active registration.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum as a registered Social Worker.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work is required.
• Current and valid provincial registration to practice.

Responsibilities

• In-office Quality Assurance with open cases and audits.
• Administration on files with attention to detail and using Matrix.
• Potential front-line crisis intervention and community support as needed.
• Collaborate with health centers, RCMP, and schools for referrals.
