Job summary

Third and Grove, a fully remote digital agency, seeks an experienced SEO professional based in Canada to lead end-to-end technical, content, and local SEO work. You will collaborate with strategists, PMs, and developers, ensuring structured data, optimized pages, and local signals drive visibility and business impact.

In addition to audits, you will implement actionable optimization across Shopify and Drupal, manage GA4/GSC reporting, and align SEO with revenue, leads, and customer lifetime

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or consulting environment.
• Hands-on experience with technical, content, and local SEO end-to-end, not just audits.
• Ability to connect SEO to business outcomes and articulate impact clearly.
• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console and Looker Studio, plus SEO tools.
• Familiarity with Shopify and Drupal ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical SEO audits focusing on structured content, crawlability, indexability, and site architecture.
• Identify errors and technical risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support optimization across Shopify and Drupal, including structured data, internal linking, URLs, and performance basics.
• Conduct keyword research to inform content briefs and prioritization.
• Execute on-page optimization including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
• Support localized content strategies aligned to search intent and market demand.
• Maintain Google Business Profile hygiene, naming conventions, and citation accuracy for multi-location brands.
• Optimize location pages with accurate NAP, internal linking, and local relevance signals.
• Support AI discoverability through structured data, schema markup, and AI-ready foundations.
• Help connect SEO and AI work to business KPIs like revenue, leads, and lifetime value.
• Use Search Console, GA4, and reporting tools to support performance analysis and insights.
• Partner with strategists, analysts, PMs, and developer teams to support integrated digital strategies.
• Contribute to documentation, process, and evolving SEO/AI best practices.
• Stay informed on algorithm updates and industry shifts affecting discoverability.
