Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Contractor) to support an AI training project by creating reinforcement learning environments that evaluate AI models on complex software engineering tasks using MCP tools. This remote role is approximately 15 hours per week.

You will design reproducible environments, deterministic verification, and reference solutions for tasks such as bug fixing, feature development, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in one or more listed languages and solid CS fundamentals.
• Experience debugging complex software systems and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Experience designing testable, reproducible environments for ML/AI tasks.
• Familiarity with distributed codebases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create reinforcement learning environments for software engineering tasks.
