Job summary

Mozilla is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Firefox Security. This remote Finland role focuses on designing, implementing, and hardening security features across platforms.

You will drive improvements to the core security posture, work with cryptography and WebPKI, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues while maintaining high performance and memory efficiency. You should have solid systems programming experience with C/C++, plus familiarity with web technologies and Rust.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in low-level software engineering with security focus.
• Experience diagnosing issues in multithreaded, cross-platform native apps.
• Familiarity with web technologies and Rust is a plus, especially in large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement security features for Firefox across operating systems.
