Job summary

FirstOntario Credit Union seeks an experienced Senior Member Solutions Team Representative to provide timely financial advice and support to members, helping them achieve financial goals. You will identify sales opportunities, deliver consultative advice, and coordinate with Wealth Management and Commercial teams to meet member needs.

The role is primarily remote, with meetings conducted virtually; candidates must travel regionally as needed to support members and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 continuous years in the Member Consultant or Member Experience Representative role at FirstOntario or a comparable financial institution
• First level lending limits with progression to higher levels within 12 months
• Proficient use of MS Office, Temenos Banking System and Criterion or equivalent platforms
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide feedback to colleagues
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel within the region and engage in virtual, outbound, and in-person service

Responsibilities

• Achieve goals as set by the Manager or designate
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities
• Cross-sell the full suite of products and services to members
• Support business development initiatives and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline
• Provide financial advice aligned with members' goals across channels
• Maintain CRM records and respond promptly to service requests
• Collaborate with Wealth Management and Commercial departments
• Travel within the region to provide support as needed
