Job summary

Affirm is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own frontend delivery across multiple product surfaces, collaborating closely with product, design, and analytics. You will migrate and modernize web code while building scalable systems and design tokens, leveraging code mods and AI tools to accelerate initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years of React/TypeScript experience, strong cross-team leadership, and a track record of delivering large features with robust technical planning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with leadership.
• Experience delivering major features or components with a technical/execution plan.
• Ownership mindset with strong written and verbal communication for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in the lifecycle and decisions.
• Identify and lead resolution of project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Support operations and availability by creating metrics and on-call involvement.
• Foster quality and ownership by setting code-review standards and sharing with others.
• Mentor and develop teammates through feedback and example.
