Alberta Precision Labs (APL) seeks a Senior Consultant, Data Intelligence & Governance to lead cross-functional initiatives advancing data literacy, stewardship, and governance. You will build partnerships, define ownership, and create learning experiences that help people use data with confidence.

This role offers remote work with occasional onsite meetings and a six-month initial term with potential extension.

Formación

• Minimum three years in data governance, data literacy, or a similar role.
• Experience using an enterprise data catalogue to improve data discovery, metadata management, data lineage, and access to trusted data assets.
• Experience using Tableau or Power BI and using Snowflake to access, analyze, and validate data.
• Familiarity with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMA-DMBOK).

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional governance projects and advise teams on governance frameworks, standards, and metadata.
• Design and deliver data literacy learning, tools, workshops, assessments, and role-based experiences.
• Build partnerships, facilitate working groups, and support change and adoption.
• Lead projects by setting plans, coordinating activities, managing risks, and presenting recommendations.
