Job summary

Alignerr seeks a Security Operations Analyst to bridge cybersecurity expertise with frontier AI. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on analyzing SOC scenarios, documenting expert reasoning, and guiding AI systems in triage and incident response.

You will review AI outputs, identify false positives, and provide structured feedback while working asynchronously. Prior SOC/IR experience and strong written skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC, IR, or security operations role.
• Familiar with SIEM platforms and alert triage workflows.
• Ability to document reasoning and findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SOC scenarios and document expert reasoning.
• Classify alert severity and identify root causes.
• Review AI outputs to reflect expert analyst work.
• Identify gaps in AI reasoning and triage logic.
• Provide structured feedback to inform AI behavior.
• Work independently on task-based assignments.
