Placements24 is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Architect for a fully remote position. You will define and drive the enterprise security strategy across global operations, designing secure, scalable systems and mentoring security professionals.

The role requires 12+ years in cybersecurity, 7+ years in architecture, and deep cloud security expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP), with strong leadership and communication skills. CISSP-ISSAP or SABSA desired.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; PhD a plus.
• 12+ years in cybersecurity with 7+ years in security architecture/design.
• Experience securing large-scale distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture roadmap.
• Design and implement security solutions for multi-cloud and on‑prem.
• Establish security standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for critical systems.
• Mentor security engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
