About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology services provider, is looking for a highly experienced and innovative Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions for a diverse range of enterprise clients. You will be instrumental in leveraging cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to solve complex business challenges, drive digital transformation, and optimize existing IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, containerization, serverless technologies, and DevOps practices. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects, shape architectural strategies, and mentor other architects and engineers, all from the convenience of your remote workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead the assessment of client requirements and translate them into comprehensive cloud architecture designs and roadmaps.
• Define and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, including security, disaster recovery, high availability, and cost optimization.
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and proof-of-concepts for cloud solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless implementation and deployment of cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing solutions and meet evolving business needs.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for cloud environments.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), with multi-cloud experience being highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and data management strategies.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for remote client interaction.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong asset.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is advantageous.
