Job summary

WCG International Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the design and operation of our cloud platform as a product.

You’ll own Azure-based infrastructure (with AWS exposure), IaC, DevSecOps, IAM, and system integrations, partnering with Security, Architecture and Development to enable secure, scalable digital services. You will drive a modern platform engineering model, advance AI-enabled capabilities, and improve developer experience by automating provisioning,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
3+ years in leadership roles.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure; working knowledge of AWS.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and secure pipelines.
Experience designing and managing integrations and APIs.
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in engineering workflows.
Experience with observability, monitoring, reliability engineering, and incident management practices.
Strong understanding of identity and access management, including lifecycle and access control models.
Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

Define, build, and operate the internal platform as a product with users and outcomes.
Develop and execute a platform roadmap, service catalog, and self-service capabilities.
Continuously improve developer experience by reducing friction and increasing autonomy.
Architect and manage Azure and AWS cloud environments with high availability and DR.
Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Define scalable, secure infrastructure patterns.
Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and platform services.
Implement automated security controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
Enforce least privilege access and zero-trust principles; manage IAM.
Leverage AI/ML for insights and productivity.
Establish reusable integration patterns across systems.
Advance CI/CD maturity and release automation.
Enable automated provisioning and deployment workflows.
Implement observability practices and support SLOs/SLAs.
Contribute to platform governance and standards.
