Job summary

Momwell is a Canadian virtual platform offering specialized maternal mental health care, seeking licensed therapists to join our team. We provide one-on-one therapy, education, and a supportive community for those navigating conception, pregnancy, loss, or motherhood.

Roles are 100% virtual with flexible scheduling and potential for growth. Ideal candidates bring private practice experience, a strong commitment to perinatal mental health, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

Valid and active mental health practitioner licence (MSW, RP) in Canadian provincial(s).
Minimum of five years of experience as a fully licensed mental health practitioner.
Private practice experience is a MUST!
Ability to work independently in a 100% virtual environment.
Experience working in women’s health or perinatal mental health
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on a client-centered care model.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.
Willingness to obtain PMH-C certification.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and assessments of clients, including reviewing medical histories and formulating diagnoses.
Develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
Provide evidence-based, client-centered clinical care to individuals that aligns with the Momwell care model.
Utilize client-reported data in session with patients (measurement-based care) to inform treatment plans.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clients’ progress or changing clinical needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including in our electronic health record system, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
