Varsity Tutors offers online 1-on-1 tutoring through its Live Learning Platform, matching students with tutors for Windows basics and related PC skills. This role emphasizes teaching essentials like navigation, file organization, Office usage, and safe online practices, all from a home-based setting.

Tutors set their own hours, earn up to $40/hour, and receive payments up to twice per week. You’ll work remotely with AI-assisted Copilot support to streamline session prep and delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system navigation, File Explorer management, Settings and Control Panel, web browsing, email setup, Microsoft Office basics, printer setup, and Windows security features.
• Conceptual teaching and problem-solving skills for Windows navigation, file organization, and basic application usage.
• Curriculum awareness and adaptive instruction for Windows PC training needs and common challenges, using hands-on practice and visual guides.
• Effective teaching methods to identify difficult concepts, explain materials, and adapt to learner needs.
• Strong communication and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Deliver on-demand tutoring sessions when available.
• Explain Windows concepts clearly, guide practice, and build student independence.
