Supported by the dedicated Lifeguard RN and 24 / 7 monitoring from our alert center, Lifeguard offers a unique service that enhances clients' safety and confidence in living independently. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a strong, trusting relationship with each client and their case manager. You’ll serve as a key point of communication and act as a vigilant advocate, consistently prioritizing the client’s well-being and best interests.

Key Responsibilities :

Your primary responsibilities as a Lifeguard Nurse will include :

  • Responsible for installing seamless WiFi-enabled motion-sensing smart plugs in clients’ homes while assessing their health status, living environment, and existing support network.
  • Developing and updating personalized Wellness Plans for each client, including goals and strategies about their well-being.
  • Explore and understand the data insights available through Lifeguard’s platform.
  • Partner with Lifeguard Customer Support Team to resolve any technology issues arising in client homes that impede insight generation.
  • Providing regular updates to client families and agencies, including observations on their overall health and wellness, through a weekly report and monthly summary.
  • Reporting incidents on a timely basis to the appointed family member or caregiver.
  • During working hours, be readily available to take calls from clients on an as-needed basis.
  • Answer questions and provide coaching to clients and family as needed.
  • Actively share your perspective with the Lifeguard Team on how we can support our clients and improve the services we offer.
  • Document and complete forms accurately and comprehensively.
  • Stay abreast of best practices and advances in geriatric care.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years’ experience caring for senior populations in their homes or remotely.
  • Active and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car.
  • Case Management or Care Coordination experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to be flexible and open-minded, adapting to changes and challenges.
  • Proficiency in technology tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Google Drive, which are preferred, and comfortable with various software applications.
  • Open and curious about technology and willing to adopt to improve care.
  • Ability to work both remotely and in-person.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Pleasant, approachable, respectful, and professional.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a client-first approach.
  • What We Offer : We offer competitive compensation, job stability, and consistent hours, along with the chance to be part of a fast-growing innovator in senior care. If you're passionate about helping older adults live at home longer, using technology to make a positive impact on clients' lives, and have the required skills and qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
