Kinaxis is seeking a Co-op/Intern on the ML team in Canada starting January 2027. You will be treated as a full-time developer, work on tech selection, production code, and demos for executives.

You will write Python code for microservices and contribute to AI platform improvements with a mentor. You'll participate in agile processes and gain hands-on ML experience through real projects, with remote options for some locations; Ottawa/Toronto in-office three days per week not required for all

Qualifications

• Hands-on ML experience from internships, co-ops, or competitions.
• Willingness to learn, experiment, and apply new ideas.
• Enjoys working in a team and sharing knowledge.
• Eager to develop new tech, business, and people skills; welcomes challenges.
• Experience with ML is preferred (internships, hackathons, etc.).
• Experience in optimization (linear programming, MILP) is a plus.
• Completed 2+ years in CS or Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• As a Co-op/Intern on the ML team you will be treated like a full-time developer and work on tech selection to production code.
• Learn from a mentor who provides guidance and support.
• Projects may involve new product ideas and demos to executives or patent applications.
• Receive training and start contributing within weeks of joining the team.
• Write Python code for microservice architectures.
• Contribute to AI platform scalability and security; participate in agile ceremonies.
