As a microbiology tutor, you’ll master bacterial cell structure, metabolism, genetics, virology, and immunology, explain concepts clearly, adapt to diverse learners, and leverage our Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of bacterial cell structure, microbial metabolism, genetics, virology, immunology and lab techniques.
• Ability to break down microbial concepts and guide problem-solving across case studies and lab scenarios.
• Adapt instruction to undergraduate microbiology curricula and common student challenges.
• Proven ability to explain concepts clearly and engage learners across learning styles.
• Excellent communication and engaging, friendly teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online microbiology tutoring sessions.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests as available.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your schedule.
