Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking Math 2 tutors to join its online Live Learning Platform. You can set your own schedule and work from home, delivering engaging instruction to students nationally. Earn up to $40/hour with incremental increases for continued sessions and receive payments up to twice per week.

We value deep mastery in quadratic functions, geometry, probability, and trigonometry, and the ability to adapt explanations to different student styles. Remote tutoring with our AI Copilot support.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of quadratic functions, similarity and right triangle trigonometry.
• Ability to explain completing the square, trigonometric ratios, circle theorems.
• Explain quadratic solving methods and probability calculations.
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles and curricula.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online 1-on-1 sessions from home using the Live Learning Platform.
• Set own hours and tutor as much as you like.
• Invoicing and payments handled by Varsity Tutors; get paid promptly (up to twice per week).
• Utilize AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.
