Job summary

Kelly is seeking Mandarin Medical Interpreters for Canada-wide coverage via audio (OPI) and video (VRI) platforms. The role supports healthcare providers, emergency services and public service organizations, with calls that may involve sensitive or distressing subjects.

Real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin is required, delivered remotely from Ontario. The position includes three weeks of paid training and competitive pay, with opportunities to contribute to vital patient

Qualifications

Fluency in English and Mandarin (speaking & comprehension).
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada.
Quiet, distraction-free workspace.
Strong listening skills, emotional intelligence, and composure.
Commitment to three weeks of full-time paid training.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin speakers.
Facilitate communication in healthcare, insurance, legal, and financial settings.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity on every call.
Deliver interpretation via audio and video platforms.
Participate in training, quality monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
