As we expand into Canada, we are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to support our growing team remotely.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to oversee key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture in a remote environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings to interviews and hiring decisions.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs for new hires.
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning and company culture initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws in Canada and the USA.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a remote or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions.
