Varsity Tutors is seeking an online High School Geography tutor to help students master physical and human geography, map reading, and spatial analysis. You’ll teach remotely with flexible hours and join a platform that supports your instruction.

You'll prepare students for AP Human Geography, adapt lessons to curricula, and leverage our Live Learning Platform with AI Copilot to save prep time while keeping sessions engaging.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of physical and human geography, climate and weather systems.
• Ability to explain plate tectonics, climate zones, demographics and urbanization.
• Experience preparing students for geography exams and AP Human Geography.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school geography with map interpretation and spatial reasoning.
• Adapt lessons to different curricula and student needs.
• Explain geographic concepts using multiple teaching approaches.
