Alcool NB Liquor (ANBL) & Cannabis NB is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to develop, implement, and administer safety policies across both organizations. This role reports to the HR Director and drives a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement through inspections, audits, training, and JHSC collaboration.

The ideal candidate has an OH&S degree, 3 years of relevant experience, strong NB legislation knowledge, and excellent MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Post-secondary degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 3 years of experience with health & safety programs and administration.
• Strong working knowledge of New Brunswick Health and Safety legislation.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to travel to ANBL and CNB sites, including weekends, for inspections and investigations.
• Experience with change management processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support development, implementation and administration of H&S policies and programs.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
• Coordinate monthly safety audits per H&S indexes.
• Act as liaison between management and JHSC; provide training and resources.
• Develop and implement action plans; monitor progress and improve safety.
• Assist in regulatory compliance audits and incident investigations.
