The role emphasizes advanced math knowledge, patient instruction, and adaptable teaching approaches while using the AI Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and reduce prep time.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of GED Mathematical Reasoning including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
• Ability to explain linear equations, slope and graphing, area/volume formulas, and statistical reasoning.
• Familiar with GED standards and common challenges for adult learners.
• Ability to adapt instruction to individual learning needs and styles.

Responsibilities

• Provide online GED Math tutoring to adult learners.
• Explain concepts using multiple approaches and build mathematical confidence.
• Identify concepts students struggle with and tailor lessons accordingly.
• Incorporate diagnostic pretests and practice materials to track progress.
