Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company, is seeking GED Math tutors to join our online Live Learning Platform. You’ll set your own schedule, choose sessions, and earn up to $40/hour by delivering high-quality instruction from home.

We look for teachers with deep GED Math knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to individual learning needs. Remote work and fast, biweekly payments are available through our platform.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of GED Mathematical Reasoning content including arithmetic, fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry, data analysis, and statistics.
• Ability to explain linear equations, slope, area/volume formulas, and data interpretation to adult learners.
• Experience teaching diverse learners and adapting instruction to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online GED Math tutoring through Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Explain concepts clearly, assess student progress, and adjust lessons accordingly.
• Invoicing and managing your schedule while delivering engaging, results-oriented sessions.
