Job summary

Torn Banner Studios in Toronto, Canada, is hiring an Associate Producer to support Production, Technical, and Design teams across the game development lifecycle. You will coordinate tasks, track priorities, and help align technical work with project goals, while maintaining transparent communication across disciplines.

Location: Ontario-based with remote options; team emphasizes collaboration, organization, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the games industry.
• At least 1 shipped game.
• Experience with production and project-management tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro).
• Strong understanding of game development lifecycle and production practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Production, Technical, and Design teams across the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate technical tasks, priorities, dependencies, and deliverables with programmers.
• Track risks, blockers, and dependencies impacting schedules or scope.
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary communication.
• Assist in defining project scope, schedules, and priorities.
• Maintain project plans using Jira, Confluence, and spreadsheets.
• Support sprint planning, milestones, and reviews.
• Identify and track issues and improvements to production processes.
