Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions in Canada is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will work across the stack, delivering responsive frontends and robust back-end APIs in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in full stack development, strong TypeScript skills, and hands-on experience with Vue.js, Express/NestJS/Fastify, and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, performant UI components using Vue 3 (Composition API) / Vuex or Pinia.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs / GraphQL services using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or Fastify).
• Write clean, strongly-typed code using TypeScript across frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or similar).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment processes.

Responsibilities
