Job summary

Smile Digital Health is seeking an Intermediate Frontend Developer to join our remote Canada team. You will shape user interfaces for our Clinical Intelligence platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into robust front-end implementations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript, strong UI fundamentals, and experience with CI/CD and REST APIs. This full-time role offers a remote work arrangement and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Git.
• Experience in the healthcare or technology industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Angular concepts including state management, observables, interceptors and routing.
• Familiar with agile and scrum processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication ensuring clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Shaping approach, scope, milestones, and solution design for a responsive, performant UI.
• Collaborating with development teams to implement solutions through components and modules.
• Writing clean code, unit tests, and maintaining documentation for front-end components.
• Leading architectural discussions on Angular front-end designs and mentoring teammates.
• Participating in client meetings and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
