Explore your next role:

We are looking for a Remote ERP Implementation Specialist (9-12 Month Contract) to join our IT Team, working closely with Finance and Corporate Accounting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the successful deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across the organization. This role will be working closely with internal teams, external consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition by coordinating implementation activities, supporting end users, optimizing business processes, and assisting with system testing.

ERP System Implementation and Coordination

  • Support the planning, configuration, and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across departments.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, IT, and external consultants to ensure alignment of system functionality with business requirements.
  • Assist with data migration efforts, including extraction, cleansing, validation, and import into Business Central.
  • Oversee system integration with existing applications and workflows.
  • Monitor implementation progress, track milestones, and escalate risks or roadblocks to ensure a successful deployment

User Training & Support

  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and user guides tailored to different teams.
  • Conduct training sessions (both virtual and in-person) to ensure employees can navigate and effectively use Business Central.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user questions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with IT or vendors.
  • Provide real-time support during go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Gather user feedback to identify system challenges and recommend improvements for better adoption.

Process Optimization & Change Management

  • Analyze and document existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies that can be improved with Business Central.
  • Collaborate with department leads to implement standardized best practices within the new system.
  • Support change management efforts by communicating system benefits, addressing user concerns, and fostering adoption.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for future reference and ongoing system optimization.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Assist in the development and execution of system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate that Business Central meets business requirements.
  • Work with department leads to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that Business Central meets operational needs.
  • Identify, document, and track system issues, coordinating with IT and vendors for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting requirements, and data integrity standards.
  • Support go-live activities, monitor system performance, and assist in post-implementation stabilization efforts.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, HR, and/or inventory management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
