Job summary

Scale AI’s Outlier platform seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare AI-created images and videos, and write precise explanations of any issues, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You’ll help shape AI systems by evaluating outputs for adherence, quality, and realism, frequently delivering concise, evidence-based feedback in English. This is a flexible, contract role with weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn’t match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
