Varsity Tutors, a leading live learning platform, connects thousands of students with online Elementary School Science tutors nationwide. Tutors choose their own schedule, earn competitive rates, and deliver engaging, inquiry-based science instruction from home using our AI-assisted tools.

Sessions are 1-on-1, remote, and invoiced through the platform for timely payment. Earn up to $40/hour with incremental increases as you build ongoing relationships with students.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of life science (plants, animals, ecosystems) and earth/physical science concepts.
• Ability to explain the water cycle, simple machines, and matter properties to elementary students.
• Experience guiding hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong communication and engaging teaching style adapted to diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Respond to on-demand tutoring requests when available.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to deliver sessions and track progress.
