Job summary

A global health organization is seeking a Director of Health Systems Strengthening – Child Survival to lead initiatives to enhance maternal, newborn, and child health in various countries. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree and over 10 years of experience in health systems, especially in Africa and Asia. Responsibilities include strategy development, program oversight, and donor relationship management. Fluency in English and advanced French is required. The role is remote with occasional travel, based in Canada.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in health systems strengthening in Africa and/or Asia.
• Experience managing large-scale health and nutrition programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in business development and resource mobilization.

Responsibilities

• Support development of portfolio-level strategy and decision-making.
• Provide technical direction for project implementation and monitoring.
• Manage relationships with donors and partners for program success.
