This remoteCanadian role focuses on leading data architecture for citizen‑centered digital services and guiding cross‑functional teams. You will drive architectural direction, model data domains, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across projects while collaborating with government stakeholders and delivering results within a 12‑month

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study (equivalencies considered).
• 5+ years leading cross-functional agile product teams with architectural direction and mentoring.
• 8+ years as a data/software architect or senior data engineer on cross-functional projects.
• 5+ years leading solution architecture for large-scale enterprise integrations.
• 4+ years leading domain modeling and DB schema design for transactional/reporting systems.
• 5+ years of strong communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution architecture of digital services with citizen-centered design and agile software approach.
• Guide the team in implementing digital services; ensure target architecture and integration state.
• Contribute to architectural vision and platform of user-centric services.
• Develop standards for service quality and delivery; provide architectural guidance to stakeholders.
• Create technical materials (docs/diagrams/presentations) for varied audiences.
• Mentor product teams and review code changes to ensure quality.
