Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Data Analyst to diagnose fulfillment quality gaps, run proactive monitoring, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve products and processes across the marketplace. You will work with the PEO Analytics team to analyze operational data, identify defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

The role involves building dashboards, conducting deep data analyses, and presenting insights to product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a data analytics-related role such as business intelligence, corporate strategy, consulting, or data science.
• Experience analyzing and visualizing large datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Ability to aggregate and synthesize large amounts of data with an understanding of fulfillment metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; detect anomalies, form hypotheses, and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides for communication.
• Ability to work independently with ownership and propose new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor retailer performance across broad dimensions with dashboards to diagnose issues and support launches.
• Analyze large datasets to derive insights and support product roadmaps.
• Create and present insights decks to cross-functional stakeholders with data-backed recommendations.
