Job summary

Intersect, a leader in energy and data infrastructure, seeks a hands‑on Chief Cybersecurity Leader to own and scale a modern cybersecurity program across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments. You’ll partner with IT, engineering, and business teams to embed strong security practices while enabling rapid digital growth.

You will guide strategy, governance, and operations, building resilient systems and maturing controls to support long‑term infrastructure expansion and secure growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience in IT or corporate environments.
• Proven ability to independently own and operate a cybersecurity function.
• Hands-on expertise with Okta (IAM), SIEM, Google Workspace security, and CrowdStrike.
• Experience securing SaaS environments and vendor risk management.
• Cloud and network security architecture knowledge; IAM frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits and aligning with standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy for cloud-first, growing environment.
• Define security policies, frameworks, and controls.
• Partner across IT, engineering, and business to embed security.
• Own incident response, detection, and resolution of security events.
• Build monitoring capabilities via SIEM and endpoints.
• Drive security awareness and cross-functional resilience.
