Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to join as an Independent Contractor in Northeastern Ontario. You will deliver client-centered occupational therapy services across community settings, focusing on recovery and return-to-work goals, with opportunities to work remotely and billing notes managed by the practice.

Qualified candidates will be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, hold a valid driver’s licence, and bring strong communication,

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients through their entire treatment plan from assessment to discharge.
• Collaborate with colleagues locally and nationally to deliver excellent client outcomes.
• Provide assessment and treatment to a diverse client base, including those with chronic or mental health conditions.
• Work with WSIB complex files and hospital discharges.
• Coordinate delivery, installation and setup of assistive devices and home modifications.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes with stakeholders for smooth workplace transitions.
