We are a young, world-class team of experts in computer science, type theory, economic game theory, risk management, and enterprise development. Our team combines experience from companies like Apple, Coinbase, IBM, and Y-Combinator with crypto-native expertise from impactful DeFi protocols.

The marketing lead will work closely with Smokey to develop and execute marketing strategies, guiding the Berachain brand's evolution. The role involves increasing market penetration across traditional finance, Web2, and crypto-native ecosystems, collaborating with BD, Engineering, and Design teams to produce content, manage the marketing calendar, and develop go-to-market strategies for product launches and collaborations.
To date, Berachain has achieved organic growth without marketing expenditure, building a community of over 30k followers on Twitter, 45k+ on Discord, and thousands of NFT holders. This organic growth, driven by our DeFi-oriented NFT community, has resulted in a negative customer acquisition cost. We aim to continue this trend while maintaining brand integrity and accessibility for new users.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to generate exposure opportunities for the Berachain ecosystem and likely led growth or marketing initiatives at a major L1 or DeFi protocol.
