Client Implementation Specialist – Billing/Revenue/Financial Software

Location: Must reside in Canada

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 CAD

Job Type: Full-Time | Remote

Typical Hours: Monday-Friday; ~45 hours/week

Travel: 1-2 times per year (Internationally, and to US)

Description

Our client, a high-growth SaaS company, is seeking a Client Implementation Specialist to join their team remotely in Canada. The role involves managing multiple implementation projects to help clients automate billing and revenue operations. You'll work closely with finance and RevOps leaders to configure solutions, integrate platforms, and ensure smooth go-lives. Ideal candidates will have experience implementing customized B2B billing/revenue or financial software for external clients and enjoy problem-solving, working with innovative companies and cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

1. Lead client implementation projects from requirements gathering to go-live
2. Collaborate with finance, RevOps, and C-suite stakeholders to align business needs
3. Configure system settings and integrations, ensuring compliance with business requirements
4. Identify client use cases and tailor technical solutions accordingly
5. Manage data migration, field mapping, and revenue recognition configurations
6. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
7. Partner with internal teams, including solution architects and product specialists
8. Provide support during hypercare to ensure a smooth transition

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customized billing/revenue/financial platform implementation
• Experience with different billing models, revenue recognition, or deferred revenue
• Experience with multiple customer-facing implementations
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial operations
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• Ability to travel internationally
