Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking an Admin Chef for a remote Arctic mining operation. You will handle costing analysis, consumption reports, production procedures and staff training, acting as an extension of the chef. This role supports day-to-day operations in a high-volume kitchen at a remote site.

Fly‑in/fly‑out from Edmonton or Yellowknife, with rotations and weather/logistics considerations. Wages start at CAD 21.00/hour up to CAD 26.50/hour, with accommodations and meals provided during rotations.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality or food and beverage operations.
• Experience in cost control and inventory management.
• Ability to train staff on SOPs and recipes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Costing analysis and cost records management.
• Produce consumption reports and menu item costing.
• Train staff on production procedures and recipes.
• Develop SOPs, price control measures and training manuals.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
