This is a remote role available to candidates anywhere in Canada and the US, working in Central time (CDT/CST). The role requires travel to the DFW area in Texas 2-3 times per year, and a valid passport is necessary for Canadian candidates traveling to the US.

What your impact will be :

1. Work as a key member of the R&D team to analyze and program changes in the DataVoice product suite.
2. Design and develop software components with guidance from senior team members or the technical architect.
3. Assist Professional Services and Support staff with investigations of technical issues.
4. Utilize programming skills to ensure high-quality, reusable code.
5. Follow specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
6. Provide timely updates on ongoing work progress.
7. Analyze and troubleshoot product issues reported by clients.

What we are looking for :

1. Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant industry experience.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of software engineering or development experience.
3. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines.
5. Strong coding, analytical skills, and eagerness to learn.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong work ethic.

What would make you stand out :

1. Experience with automation, Bash scripting, or systems programming.
2. Knowledge of GitLab pipelines.
3. Experience with Docker.
