Job summary

FOP CONSULTANTS is seeking BI Analysts to analyze information needs, develop BI solutions, design data models and dashboards, and ensure data quality. The role involves automating data pipelines and supporting users to leverage data effectively.

The candidate should have a university degree, extensive IT experience, BI analyst tenure, and relevant certifications, with proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Azure DevOps, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
• Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a BI Analyst.
• Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
• Hold one of the following certifications: DP-700, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
• Hold one of the following certifications (an asset): Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), AI-102.
• Experience with one of the following tools: Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
• Language: French and English

Responsibilities

• Analyze information needs and define indicators and calculation rules.
• Design and develop data models, reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of data and deliverables.
• Optimize the performance of models, queries and reports.
• Document models, data dictionaries and operating procedures.
• Support business users and foster analytical self-sufficiency.
