Funday, a full-service agency, seeks an Associate Creative Director (Art) to lead and mentor a diverse creative team. You’ll set vision, steer projects from concept to execution, and collaborate across strategy, design, and production for varied campaigns.

You’ll work remotely from anywhere in Canada, bring a hands-on design approach, and drive standout work that balances creativity with client results.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills with digital work examples.
• Minimum 10 years in a creative agency; digital agency is a plus.
• 3–5 years in Associate Creative Director, with mentoring junior staff.
• Curiosity and passion for digital media and latest tech trends.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Balance coaching juniors with responding to client feedback.
• Desire to create work that sells products and earns recognition.
• Willingness to get hands-on and provide design solutions.
• Marketing sense and cross-channel campaign development interest.

Responsibilities

• Be the creative visionary for the team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and other creative minds.
• Lead concept development with Creative Director, strategists, designers, and copywriters for ads, branding, digital, and social content.
• Drive projects forward with quality, consistency, and strong brand fit, including final quality checks.
• Collaborate hands-on with the team, designing alongside colleagues.
• Interact with clients alongside the Engagement Manager, presenting ideas and incorporating feedback.
• Foster teamwork and mentorship within the creative team, sharing ideas and guiding newbies.
