Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking an ambitious Software Engineer II to advance data science initiatives across multiple business areas. You will draw insights from large datasets, build predictive models, and deploy production-ready pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, and Google Cloud.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. Applicants should have a Master's degree in a STEM field, 2+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM or quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying data science or ML solutions, including at least one production deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Experience with cloud data and ML platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Own research and development projects end-to-end with defined success metrics.
• Translate business questions into problems with KPIs, deliverables, and timelines.
• Assess feasibility and impact of initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Design and conduct rigorous statistical analyses and build predictive models.
• Create production-ready pipelines for large-scale datasets using distributed processing systems.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and participate in reviews.
• Contribute to tooling, documentation, and best practices for the data science function.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior colleagues.
