About The Opportunity

• Outlier is seeking talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative AI models.
• This is a remote, reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity with flexible hours.

Contributions May Include:

• Reading English text to rank responses generated by an AI model.
• Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, involving research and fact-checking.
• Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.

Desired Expertise:

• Experience as a professional writer or editor.
• Currently enrolled in or completed at least an associate degree in a writing-related discipline.
• Strong writing style, exceptional English spelling and grammar, plus good logic and reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain text strengths and weaknesses.

Payment Details:

• US: Approximate $15/hour.
• UK: Estimated up to £11/hour.
• Canada: Estimated up to $20 CAD/hour.
• Rates vary based on expertise, location, project needs, and other factors.
